YAMS - Youth At St Mary's

Benefice Youth Group for 10-14 Year Olds

Sundays, 4.30pm

YAMS is a group for young people aged 10-14 held every Sunday at 4.30pm in Shinfield Church Hall.  

It offers:

† activities and Christian teaching

† games and discussions

† outings, fun and refreshments

† exploring what it means to be a Christian in today's world

CONNECTIONS

Connections is for young people and is held once a month at Swallowfield on 3rd Sunday afternoons starting with tea from 4.30pm (sandwiches, cake, biscuits, nibbles, etc).  Worship begins about 5.00pm and aims to explore our spiritual connections with people, organisation, our inner selves and with God in new ways.  We use some traditional material songs and hymns bible readings etc and quite a bit of alternative ways of praying, prayer trees, post it notes, candles, the Sin Shredder (!) Each service has a theme. Worship lasts about 45 minutes.
