St Mary's oversees two churchyards, both of which are closed for burials although we are able to accommodate the interment of ashes.

We are honoured to be a Commonwealth War Graves site, and our churchyard annex saw a full military burial for Louisa Parsons; a nurse who studied under Florence Nightingale, served as a British Army nurse and was instrumental in setting up the University of Maryland Nursing training programme.
